Thanks all...but I might need some more work since that is a duck...after having several posts with chickens I thought I'd better switch up...

That's a riot! I love the faces...everything, actually! They're wonderful characters. I hope she forgets to kill the duck...

Ha ha...! This is along the same lines as what I wanted to do, only with a potato and legs. Didn't come out at all like planned. Nice linear power here. Thanks for the encouragement. This graphite wash piece was worked over twice and the second edit post is what I decided on staying with. I'd love to send to you for over the fireplace, but my wife loves horses (even though this one came out like a vicious donkey). Keep up the humor.

That is funny as heck. I love his look. That thing is about to be amputated.
Too bad for him - it must have been that stuff he sprays on his fields. Or too many turnips. Blech. You know that those things are parasitic. I have seen those things devour whole cows.

You've another hit on your hands, my good fellow. Is the lady of the house actually "choking her ?1?!"? Oh my ... I'm going to have to call the FCC on this. Seriously funny stuff here.

Coming from a farming family, this is just too spooky... The chickens knew to run when they saw Grandma pick up the axe (we didn't have ducks). Reminds me of Lil Rascals' Alfalfa's topknot. Great illustration.
